The founder

I'm Miguel Rovira.
Founder of Alicante Tech Vibes.

SpaceXAI Ambassador · Alicante

Hi, I'm Miguel — founder and organizer since 2026, founder of A TOPE, our Agentic AI Hub, and a SpaceXAI Ambassador here in Alicante. But honestly? This community belongs to the 1000+ people who show up. This is my letter to them — and to you.

Why this community exists.

Meetup Super Organizer

ATV didn't start as a plan. It started as a hunch: Alicante was full of brilliant people — engineers, founders, designers, nomads — who all thought they were the only ones here.

They weren't. They just had no room to find each other. So I opened a WhatsApp group — and the community did the rest: a meetup, demo nights, tardeos on the marina, beach days, a women in tech edition. Today Alicante Tech Vibes is the city's largest independent tech community: 1000+ members, 30+ nationalities, startups demoing in front of 80+ peers, and friendships that started over a beer and turned into companies. I lit the match; the community is the fire.

The latest thing I founded for it: A TOPE, our Agentic AI Hub — AI agents tracking which VCs are actively investing, and an Idea Lab for shaping business models before you pitch them. I'm also a SpaceXAI Ambassador, based here in Alicante.

Who belongs here

You don't need to write code to belong here.

I believe tech should be for everyone — it's one of the best ways to make friends, start and explore ideas, and find purpose. Because technology has never been just about computers: every new and better way of doing something is technology.

01

A chef

rethinking how a kitchen runs. A teacher finding a clearer way to explain. That's technology too.

02

A founder

fixing a broken industry. An artist working in a medium that didn't exist five years ago. If you're making something better than it was, you're one of us.

03

You

Bring an idea. Bring a project. Bring curiosity. What matters here is ideas, projects and friendship — and the friendships are what make the other two happen.

Non-negotiables

Three promises that won't change.

01

Independent, always.

No corporate owner, no ticket sales. Sponsored by venues and local partners who believe in the city.

02

Free entry, always.

The best ideas shouldn't have a cover charge.

03

Built for the community.

It's my personal project: I founded it and I run it, and the members make it what it is.

Hi, I'm Miguel. I'm always up for a coffee, a beer, or a good conversation about tech and projects. You'll find my personal portfolio and projects at techiewithmiguel.com. Join the community and send me a message if you want to demo your startup, propose an idea for an event or a project, or need a hand with something you're building. Or just come to the next edition and say hi — I'll be making introductions.
