Summer's over — Alicante doesn't slow down. The headline is the Grok Bot Alicante Meetup on November 7; before it, October brings an Oktoberfest beach party and Halloween. Here's how the tech crowd spends autumn and winter on the Costa Blanca, and where to meet people while you're at it.

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, with All Saints' Day (Todos los Santos) on Sunday, November 1. The old town's bars in El Barrio are where the costumes end up — the WhatsApp group is where plans get made.
