Alicante Tech Vibes is an independent, volunteer-run meetup connecting entrepreneurs, founders, developers and digital nomads who are choosing the Costa Blanca to build their next thing. Founded in 2026 in Alicante city by Miguel Rovira.

The story

From a WhatsApp group to a movement.

It started in early 2026 with a WhatsApp group our founder, Miguel Rovira, created to connect the brilliant people scattered around Alicante — founders, engineers, designers, nomads, builders — who kept thinking they were the only ones here. Within months there were over a hundred people in it. After enough hallway intros and improvised coffees, the demand for one room and one night was obvious.

Our first edition — Drinks & Startups Demo, March 21, 2026 at Sausalito Premium Club — brought 45 attendees and seven startup demos. Since then we've kept a roughly monthly rhythm: tardeos on the marina, a beach day at Postiguet and a women-only Women in Tech edition. Independent. Free. Run by entrepreneurs who'd rather build here than anywhere else.

Why I founded Alicante Tech Vibes.

Hi, I'm Miguel Rovira, Founder of Alicante Tech Vibes (2026). I made this project because I believe tech should be for everyone — it's one of the best ways to make friends, explore ideas and find purpose. What matters here is ideas, projects and friendship.
